This hex nut is manufactured to DIN 934 standards and made from steel with a Zinc Flake surface coating per ISO 10683 flZnnc, Cr(VI+)-free. The zinc-aluminum combination delivers superior corrosion protection compared to a pure zinc coating of the same thickness, without the risk of hydrogen embrittlement. The nut features a metric thread and is rated at strength class |8|. Please note: class |8| nuts are rated according to DIN 267-4 and have a lower load capacity than class 8 nuts per ISO 898-2. Mechanical overloading may cause the threads on either the nut or bolt to strip.
