This nylon-insert lock nut is manufactured to DIN 985 and ISO 10511 standards and features a non-metallic locking element. Made from steel with an electrolytically galvanized finish, it's suited for indoor use or applications with very mild environmental exposure. The nut has a metric thread and is rated at strength class |10|. Please note: Class |10| nuts are rated according to DIN 267-4 and have a lower load capacity than Class 10 nuts rated to ISO 898-2. Mechanical overloading can cause the threads on the nut or bolt to strip.
