This hex nut with ISO metric threading is designed for use in pressure vessels, steam equipment, machinery, and flanged connections at temperatures ranging from -10°C to +300°C. The nut is standardized to ISO 4032, manufactured from steel in strength class 5-2, and hot-dip galvanized. It meets the requirements of AD2000-W7, TRD106, and DIN 267-13. The threading has a 6H fit and must be paired with externally threaded components featuring a 6az thread fit prior to galvanizing. Because the threads are tapped after galvanizing, they are left uncoated—corrosion protection is provided by the zinc layer on the mating part.
