Hexagon nut DIN 934 Stainless steel A2 COMBIFLON 70

This hex nut is made from A2 stainless steel and manufactured to DIN 934 standards. Rated at strength class 70—which translates to a minimum tensile strength of 700 MPa—it features metric threading. The COMBIFLON coating is a dry, solid, silver-colored topcoat that dramatically reduces the risk of thread galling in stainless steel while bringing the friction coefficient back to normal, more consistent levels. In a bolt-and-nut assembly, coating just the nut with COMBIFLON is enough to prevent galling. As an added benefit, the coating also helps minimize contact corrosion.

Info Specific features of Combiflon:
  • The fixed, silver colored dry film coating reduces the effect of galling.
  • It levels out the big scatter in coefficient of friction and reduces the average value.
  • In a bolt/nut assembly only one product (e.g. the nut) needs to be treated with Combiflon.
  • The coating reduces bi-metallic corrosion.
